Design Fun with "Sticker Doodle"

After you tap "Sticker Doodle," you'll be moved to one of three possible screens.
We'll look at each below, based on the three possible situations.


I. Base nOn Selection Screen (A)
*This is the screen you'll see when you have a Base nOn, but you don't have any work-in-progress data.

1 - Return Button
Tap this to return to either the Home screen or the Work-in-Progress Selection screen.
2 - Preview
This will show you a preview of the Base nOn you've selected from the list (marked with "4" above).
3 - Next Button
Tap this after you have selected your Base nOn to move on to the design screens.

 

II. Base nOn Selection Screen (B)
*This is the screen you'll see when you don't have a Base nOn.

1 - Return Button
Tap this to return to either the Home screen or the Work-in-Progress Selection screen.
2 - Preview
You'll see the semi-transparent image of a Base nOn.
3 - Base nOn Purchase Button
Tap this button to purchase a new Base nOn.

 

III. Work-in-Progress Selection Screen
*This is the screen you'll see when you have some work-in-progress data saved.

1 - Return Button
Tap this to return to the Home screen.
2 - Preview
This will show you a preview of the nOn from the data slot you've selected.
3 - Saved Data Slot
You can save up to 3 works in progress at a time.

a - You can tap this little X to discard a work in progress.
*You will not lose the stickers or Base nOn saved in the data slot, even if you discard the work in progress saved in that slot.
b - A free data slot looks like this. Tap it to move to the Base nOn Selection screen.
*If you have one or more Base nOn already, you'll be moved to "Base nOn Selection Screen (A)".
*If don't have any Base nOn, you'll be moved to "Base nOn Selection Screen (B)".
4 - Resume Button
Tap this to continue designing your nOn on the design screens.

 

IV. Sticker Selection Screen
*You'll see this screen after selecting a Base nOn and tapping the "Next" button.

1 - Return Button
Tap this to return to the Work-in-Progress Selection screen.
*Your current work in progress will be automatically saved to an open data slot.
2 - Finish Button
Tap this to complete your design and save your work.
*You will no longer be able to edit the stickers on a completed nOn.
3 - Preview
This will show you a preview of your current work. You can view this while you edit the look and placement of your selected stickers.
4 - Undo and Redo Buttons

5 - Camera Reset Button
Tap this to reset the preview of your nOn to its default orientation.
6 - Menu, Layers, and Palette Buttons
*In order, from top to bottom:
- Menu = You can select Reset, Help, Settings, and Preview Mode from here.

- Layers = You can adjust and delete your sticker layers from here.

- Palette = You can choose your nOn's overall color from here.
∟See "VIII. Palette Interface"
7 - Categories
You can choose your stickers according to category here.
8 - Filter Button
Tap this to sort the stickers in your list by type, rarity, size, etc.

9 - Subcategories
This area will show you subcategories that correspond to the category you selected above in 7 as follows:
- All = only "Favorites" will show
- Brand = a list of the different sticker brands will show
- Color = a list of 15 colors you can select to filter by will show
- Book = a list of the Sticker Books you have will show, starting with your first one
10 - Sticker List
This area displays your available stickers.
*Stickers will be displayed according to your filtering settings in 7, 8, and 9.

 

V. Sticker Placement Interface
*This is the interface you'll see when you select a sticker you want to place.

1 - Delete Button
Tap this to cancel placing the selected sticker.
2 - Confirm Button
Tap this to confirm the the placement of the selected sticker.
*This becomes unselectable if you remove the sticker from your nOn.
3 - Placement Preview
The sticker you've selected from your list is displayed in the preview area.

a - use this to rotate your sticker
b - use this to change your sticker's size
4 - Transparency Slider
Use this to adjust the opacity of your sticker.

 

You can also use two fingers to adjust stickers.

Using two fingers side by side, you drag stickers left and right.

You can also move stickers in all directions using one finger.

Touch and pull two fingers in opposite directions to make your sticker larger.

Touch and bring two fingers together to make your sticker smaller.

Touch and rotate two fingers to rotate your sticker.

 

VI. Sticker Doodle Menu
*This is the screen you'll see when you tap the menu button.

1 - Return Button
Tap this to return to the Work-in-Progress Selection screen.
*Your current work in progress will be automatically saved to an open data slot.
2 - Finish Button
Tap this to complete your design and save your work.
*You will no longer be able to edit the stickers on a completed nOn.
3 - Preview
This will show you a preview of your current work. You can view this while you edit the look and placement of your selected stickers.
4 - Menu Close Button
Tap this to close the Sticker Doodle menu overlay.
5 - Reset, Help, and Settings Buttons
- Reset = resets all work to initial state
- Help = opens a pop-up explaining the design tools
- Settings = opens the Design Settings menu
6 - Emote Preview Selection
Select different emotes from the list to see preview how your current work looks performing them.

 

VII. Edit Layers Interface
*This is the screen you'll see when you tap the Layers button.

1 - Return Button
Tap this to return to the Work-in-Progress Selection screen.
*Your current work in progress will be automatically saved to an open data slot.
2 - Finish Button
The "Finish" button is unselectable while the Edit Layers interface is open.
It will become selectable again after closing the interface.
3 - Preview
Your currently selected will flash slightly in the preview area.
4 - Interface Close Button
Tap this to close the Edit Layers interface.
5 - Delete Button
Tap this to delete the currently selected layer.
*This shows up only after you select a layer.
6 - Layers List
This will show you the list of all stickers currently on your nOn and their layer order.

*You can change the layer order of your stickers by deleting them (See 5), or
by tapping and dragging the layers to manually change their order.

 

VIII. Palette Interface
*This is the screen you'll see when you tap the Palette button.

1 - Return Button
Tap this to return to the Work-in-Progress Selection screen.
*Your current work in progress will be automatically saved to an open data slot.
2 - Finish Button
Tap this to complete your design and save your work.
*You will no longer be able to edit the stickers on a completed nOn.
3 - Preview
Use this area to preview your work in progress as you tweak the color of your nOn.
4 - Interface Close Button
Tap this to close the Palette interface.
5 - Reset Color Button
Tap this to reset the color of your nOn to its default color.
6 - Free Selection Palette
You can choose from a wide nuance of tones and values here.
*You can change the main hue using the hue slider, described below.
7 - Hue Slider
Use this slider to change the palette's selected hue (color).
8 - Limited Selection Palette
Use this to select a color from a list of set colors.
*The interface will open to the Free Selection Palette by default.

a - When you tap the "Limited Selection Palette" icon, the interface will change to this display.

 

IX. Filter Menu
*This is the screen you'll see when you tap the sticker Filter button.

1 - Menu Close Button
Tap this to close the Filter menu overlay.
2 - Sorting Options
"Select your preferred sorting option for filtering your stickers.
You can select one of four options by tapping the corresponding radial buttons."
3 - Rarity Options
Select which rarities to display. You can select anywhere from none to all three options.
4 - Size Options
Select which sizes to display. You can select anywhere from none to all three options.
